NeonELEVATE is back!

Our innovative programme supporting young people aged 13-30 years old with technical classes in multidisciplinary arts, mentoring and the opportunity to create and perform a new show is now open for applicants.

About NeonELEVATE

NeonELEVATE, Neon’s fully funded Youth Company, was launched in Autumn of 2020 through funding from LambethELEVATE. The programme provides young people technical classes in; Music Production + Songwriting, Hip Hop, Art, Film & Photography, Drama, Contemporary Dance, Singing, Ballet, Event Management & Costume Design including Upcycling. NeonELEVATE gives young people ownership through a theatre making experience where they can chose to be Leaders of different disciplines (as well as performers), devise and perform a brand new show illustrating issues and themes important to them through the different art forms learnt.

About NEON

Neon is a home for young artists and performers, in London and the South, who are beginning their journeys. Our programme covers performance, production and multi-disciplinary arts. We build skills for the next step into the creative industries, or simply support learning for the love of it. Our artists, teachers and mentors inspire and nurture - giving our students the confidence, technical and soft skills to not only become great artists but also enhance their well-being.

About You

• You need to be aged between 13-30 years old to apply

• You need to be a Lambeth Resident

• You don’t have to be super experienced in the disciplines offered - we are there to nurture undiscovered talent and give opportunities to those who haven’t had them

Please not there is an in-person workshop on Tuesday 2nd April 2-5pm at Neon (Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre, 5 Glasshouse Walk, Vauxhall, London, SE11 5ES), this is part of the audition and helps us to know your level.
